Welcome to Gift Balloons NOLA (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By requesting a quote, submitting a deposit, or booking our balloon decor services, you (“Client” or “Customer”) agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your order.

1. Booking, Deposits & Payments

  • Retainer Deposit: A non-refundable 50% deposit and a signed proposal are required to secure your event date and design setup. No date or inventory will be held without a deposit.

  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 3 business days prior to the scheduled event date, unless explicit written arrangements have been made for corporate Net-30 invoicing.

  • Late Bookings: Orders placed within 7 days of the event must be paid in full at the time of booking and are subject to a rush processing fee.

2. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

  • Cancellations: If the Client cancels the event, the 50% deposit remains strictly non-refundable.

    • Cancellations made within 7 days of the event will forfeit 100% of the total invoice value, as custom materials and balloons will have already been sourced and prepped.

  • Rescheduling: Event dates may be rescheduled once without penalty if written notice is provided at least 10 days prior to the original event date, subject to Gift Balloons NOLA’s availability.

3. Outdoor Event Policy & Weather Contingencies

  • Material Sensitivity: Balloons are naturally susceptible to heat, direct sunlight, wind, rain, and humidity. Dark colors absorb heat rapidly, and high temperatures may cause balloons to pop or oxidize (matte appearance).

  • Guarantees: Gift Balloons NOLA uses only high-grade, professional balloons and framing equipment. However, we cannot guarantee the lifespan or appearance of outdoor balloon installations once setup is complete.

  • Weather Relocation: In the event of severe weather (high winds, heavy rain, extreme heat), the Client is responsible for providing a covered or indoor backup location. No refunds will be issued due to inclement weather.

4. Venue Access, Timeline & Logistics

  • Access Requirements: The Client must ensure GB NOLA’s team has full, uninterrupted access to the setup area at the agreed-upon Arrival Time.

  • Delays: If our team is delayed due to venue lockouts, incomplete room setups, or lack of access, an additional waiting fee of $75 per hour may be billed to the Client.

  • Permissions: The Client is responsible for securing all necessary approvals, permits, and permissions from the venue, building management, or local authorities prior to our arrival.

5. Equipment Ownership & Damages

  • Rental Hardware: All physical equipment—including metal frames, arches, backdrops, stands, marquee letters, and bases—remains the sole property of Gift Balloons NOLA and is provided on a temporary rental basis for the duration of the event.

  • Equipment Care: The Client assumes full responsibility for all rental hardware while on the event premises.

  • Damage or Theft: Any damage, theft, or destruction to Gift Balloons NOLA’s property by event guests, staff, or venue personnel will result in a replacement fee charged directly to the Client.

  • No Alterations: Clients and guests are strictly prohibited from moving, altering, or dismantling installed balloon decor or framing structures after our setup team leaves the site.

6. Takedown & Strike Services

  • Service Scope: Takedown/strike service is only included if explicitly itemized on the approved invoice.

  • Client Disposal: If takedown service is not purchased, the Client is responsible for popping the balloons, disposing of latex responsibly, and making all rental hardware available for scheduled pickup.

  • Late Pickup: If rental equipment is not available at the scheduled strike time, additional retrieval fees will apply.

7. Safety, Liability & Disclaimers

  • Choking Hazard: Uninflated or popped balloons present a potential choking hazard. Adult supervision is required around balloon elements.

  • Allergies: While we use professional-grade natural rubber latex, clients with latex allergies should exercise caution.

  • Liability: GB NOLA is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or consequential losses arising from the use, handling, or presence of our decor once installation is finalized and turned over to the Client.

8. Photography & Media Release

  • Gift Balloons NOLA reserves the right to photograph and record video of all completed installations for marketing, portfolio, promotional, and social media purposes.

  • If your event requires confidentiality or non-disclosure prior to a specific brand launch, please notify us in writing before the event date.
